Who Built These Chambers & Why?

Some say the were built by Revolutionary Soldiers, others say the were built for storage, shelter or nothing more then root cellars, and others claim they are much older then that. We will never know for sure since there is no recorded history on who or why they were built.

Although the origins on how these stone chambers were originally made have been debated countless times, the fact remains they are an awesome site to behold. If ancient civilizations did construct them, they remain a testament to the ingenuity of man.

Some of these chambers are on Private Property and have been modernized with doors added to them or roofs, others have been destroyed by land developers, vandels homeowners, and by Mother Nature.

If these chambers were built by someone other then an ancient civilization, then why do some of them line up to astronomical events, setting & rising suns, Equinoxs & solstices, Just to name a few.
